2021-22 ICT Zone College Basketball Rankings Week 5

12/13/2021

Here at the ICT Zone, we rely on a satirical and unconventional ranking system. No analysis, no subjectivity, if a lower-ranked team defeats a higher-ranked team, then the two teams automatically switch rankings. After all, you're only as good as your last game.

Southern Utah University join our rankings for the first time ever. A school of 11 thousand down in . . . Southern Utah. Utah is a beautiful place if you've never been by the way.

Elsewhere the Richmond Spidermen (probably the best name in college sports) join our rankings for the first time this season at 11th, so shout out to them. Rumors are they'll get free tickets to the new Spiderman movie if they let Tom Holland play in a game so be on the lookout for that.

Outside of the top 3-5 players, this is the first time most fans hear the names of their next favorite player. Admittedly, I only started paying attention to college prospects during March Madness, and that's only through the view of the...

The Chicago Bulls surprised everyone last year by making the biggest splash in free agency, signing Demar Derozan, Alex Caruso, and Lonzo Ball to pair with Zach Lavine and Nikola Vucevic. Safe to say, the Bulls exceed expectations. Before the season, it was unclear how Lavine and Derozan would fit next to each other. They put those conversations to...
