NBA Power Rankings Week 2

Another week of NBA action has passed, and there are some teams in interesting places in our rankings. The Sacramento Kings are proving to be among the NBA's elite, grabbing a top-3 spot. The Milwaukee Bucks, despite being the NBA's only undefeated team, are currently sitting in second place, just behind the San Antonio Spurs. On the other end of the list, the Atlanta Hawks have reclaimed their position as the league's worst team, while both of Los Angeles' basketball teams find themselves in the bottom five this week.

The Houston Rockets, despite sporting a terrible 1-5 record, still are located in the middle third of the league, thanks to the quality of opponents they've been facing. A similar situation is the case for the Washington Wizards, who somehow have 10 teams behind them, even though they are merely 1-6. That's just the nature of this ranking system, so if you're thinking your team should be higher than they are, you'd better hope they play some of the top dogs this upcoming week.
