2018 NFL Power Rankings Week 1

09/13/2018

We have decided to extend our ranking philosophy here at ICTZone to the NFL. It's quite simple, to be the man you gotta beat the man. Our power rankings are based solely on results from the week's games. If a lower ranked team defeats or ties a higher ranked team then the two teams swap spots in the power rankings. The initial rankings were pulled from ESPN's preseason rankings, then we let week 1 of the NFL season decide the rest.

The biggest mover was the Cleveland Browns skyrocketing to number 5 after earning a grueling overtime tie at home against the Steelers. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh fans, they see the Steelers drop all the way to 31st a spot above last placed Tennessee who tumbled down to the bottom after a loss to the now #14 Miami Dolphins. The Saints also fell 22 spots after a shocking home loss to the now third ranked Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tune in next week to see where your favorite team lands.
