2018 CBB Rankings: Week Nine

01/07/2019

Conference basketball is here which means the games matter just a little bit more. Each week will present a slate of games that are sure to change the top 25.

Our rankings are molded after Ric Flair's famous quote, "to be the man, you gotta beat the man." The week's ranking are based solely on the week's results so if a lower ranked team defeats a higher ranked team, the two teams automatically swap rankings.

One of last seasons personal favorites, Ball State, are back in the top 25. After defeating Toledo, Ball State find themselves at #17 with a 10 and 4 record. DePaul are the only team to join the top 5 after taking down Seton Hall.

Alabama and Kentucky swap places in the top 25 as do Michigan and Indiana. Overall, there were 14 total changes in the top 25, the most we have seen in a while. Tune in next week to see how the top 25 changes.
