2018 College Football Rankings Week 4

09/25/2018

Your favorite college football ranking system is back for the 2018-19 college football season. Our format remains the same, to be the man you gotta beat the man. Teams are ranked based on the previous weeks record, nothing else.

Once again, we gave you three upsets and once again we went one for three. Georgia and UCF both proved us wrong but Kentucky secured their second top 25 upset of the season which sees them replace Mississippi State at number 17 in our top 25. Kentucky might be on to something led by Benny Snell Jr., one of the best running backs in the nation but the SEC can be a very unforgiven conference.

Old Dominion storm into our top 25 with a shocking upset over Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech was considered one of the best teams in the country and not only did they drop a game to a previously winless team, they lost to a backup quarterback . . . college football is a funny game. Texas Tech enter the top 25 by defeating Oklahoma State but have West Virginia rolling in next week.

For week 5, we have some upsets for you. Kansas State over Texas, Texas defeated a strong TCU team last week but the team dropped a game away from home in week 1 and would not be surprised to see it happen again. Florida going into Mississippi State and coming home with a win, Mississippi State and Florida both saw their first loss of the season to Kentucky and something tells me Florida will come out on top this weekend. Virginia Tech over Duke, one loss should not define the Virginia Tech season and they should look to bounce back against a top 25 opponent this weekend.

Keep an eye on our upset picks and tune in next week to see the week's top 25.
