The U.S. Soccer Federation released its analysis of men's and women's Division I college soccer last week. Their main argument is clear from the report's title: "Ensuring College Soccer Thrives in the Modern Era of College Athletics and the Changing U.S. Soccer Landscape."

Far-Fetched Friday: Felix Auger-Aliassime Wins Australian Open
I've never written about tennis, not really that big of a fan of tennis, but I decided to branch out for this week's prediction because why not. My bold prediction is that Felix Auger-Aliassime will win the Australian Open.

Welcome back to Far-Fetched Friday, where every Friday we give you a bold prediction that we believe will come to fruition. This time, we look at a sport I know very little about.
Two factors make this far-fetched. One, Felix is up against tournament favorite Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals, a man he has failed to defeat in three attempts.
And secondly, if Felix Auger-Aliassime wins, he'll become only the second black man to win the Australian Open (Arthur Ashe in 1977). And only the third black man to ever win a Grand Slam single's title (Yannick Noah 1983, fun fact, that is Joakim Noah's father).
Auger-Aliassime, at 21 years old, is a 6'4" Togolese-Canadian currently ranked 10th in the World. And this is precisely the extent of my knowledge about the man. But I have a good feeling about this one.

What's my reasoning for why he'll win? I'm not even going to cap- I don't really have one, just want to support a fellow black man. With black history month coming up and the final taking place a few days before on January 30th, I'm trying to cash in all my favors to get this win.
Also, King Richard was a fire movie, so I need this one for the culture.

In this day and age, sports discourse is often characterized by hyperbole, where judgments and extreme opinions are made swiftly. If a new player has one bad game or a slow start at a new club, they are quickly labeled a flop, waste, or garbage. If...
From a financial point of view, Caitlin Clark is becoming the most impactful athlete of the 21st century. The 23-year-old basketball star has redefined how popular women's sports can be and, most importantly, the revenue it can command.
The NBA SHOULD Rig the Draft Lottery
It is no secret that the NBA has a ratings issue, with viewership down across the board as the league loses further ground to the NFL. I am here with the answer, embracing the art of manufacturing storylines to gain mass public interest.
