It is time to throw away the American inferiority complex with its place in the sport, where many blindly claim that technique should come above all in choosing and developing the best prospects and that the U.S. is not an international power because it cares too much about athleticism.

Far-Fetched Friday: The New England Patriots Miss Playoffs
The New England Patriots are currently the number 1 seed in the AFC and look to be one of the favorites for the Super Bowl with four games left in the regular season. Well, I am here to say that after going 1 and 3 over the last four games, the New England Patriots will miss the playoffs.

Welcome back to Far-Fetched Friday, where every Friday we give you a bold prediction that we believe will come to fruition. This time, we go up to the East coast.
Yes, I know the Patriots are on a six-game winning streak and that Bill Belichick is a candidate for coach of the year. That still does not change my mind on what I consider an overrated team with a rookie quarterback that will struggle over the last four weeks of the season.
The Patriots head to Indy to take on the Colts, followed by a game at home against the Bills. Those are two teams that are in desperation mode. The Colts have won 6 of their last eight games, and Carson Wentz, with the sixth-highest QBR in the league this season, looks like the MVP candidate he once was.
The Patriots will lose this game. Everything the Patriots do starts with the run game, and if you take that away, they look like a mediocre team. This season against teams with a run defense that ranks 16th or better, the Patriots are 3 and 4. They are 4 and 0 against everyone else. This Colts defense comes in at 16th and has a quarterback superior to Mac Jones.
Then next week is at home against the Bills. The Bills will win this game as a win means they have a chance to catch New England in the standings. They will also have extra motivation after last week's loss, where New England threw the ball a total of three times on route to a historic win.
Patriots beat the Jaguars.

That leaves week 18 with New England going to Miami to take on the Dolphins. The Dolphins have an outside shot at a playoff spot, not to mention that Brian Flores is the one ex-Belichick coach with a winning record against his old boss at 3 and 2. The Dolphins already beat the Patriots in New England to kick off the season, and they will cease the chance to knock the Patriots out of the playoffs with this loss.
And there you have it; the New England Patriots will miss the playoffs.
